Well...a day late into 2014, really but I was enjoying the first day of the new year with my wonderful boyfriend and his family so you can't really blame me, right? And what better way to start the new year than my resolutions.
I have a lot of personal resolutions. The typical ones that everybody has on their list such as lose 10kg, start running regularly and such but let's talk about the resolutions that will affect this blog.
So I plan on doing the following things this year which I hope would make all the lovely people who visit this blog want to visit it more regularly and leave me happy little comments :)
* Post 1 pokemon pattern a month - probably be more but I want to see if I can keep up this minimum
* Participate in the Baker and Cook challenge at the Daring Kitchen
* Read 1 book a month and talk about it to see if I can get everybody else reading!
So with the first resolution, I am currently working on a Growlithe pattern so hopefully that'll be up in another week or so. There's just one thing that is frustrating me shape-wise but I'm sure I'll get over that hump. Once I'm over that hump, the rest of that pattern will be quite fast to work up.
I do apologise to anybody that is just beginning with their crochet journey because I tend to work with a lot of colour changing and random stitch decreasing and increasing to get the shapes I want. I also tend to work with multiple weights of yarn to make it look the way I want it to look. So please feel free to ask me any questions in comments or emails and I'll reply as often as I can. But hopefully your little pokemon babies turn out as cute as my little pokemon babies do.
I think I might post up my umbreon pattern shortly after Growlithe for all of you who want a little umbreon of your own. :)
Oh, I'll also be introducing you guys to all the little tips and tricks that I have to make certain features of my mon. So hopefully you guys all pick up a little something. Please send me through pictures of the things you make because I love seeing everybody else's creations.
If you would like to adopt one of the creations I make, please saunter over to my storenvy shop.
