Hey all! This one isn't being added to my pokedex since the mega versions don't have their own number as far as I can tell. But I'm posting the pattern here since I've made one!
This one ended up being 28cm (11 inches) tall. The hair was done completed with felting techniques.
The patterns that I write usually are optional when it comes to needlefelting as embroidery can be used for the embellishments. In this pattern, I used needlefelting techniques for the hair. If you wish to make this and don’t use any needlefelting tools, you may wish to figure out another way to complete the hair prior to starting this project. I don’t have any alternatives for this one.

Round 9 - 10: LSx48 (48, 2 rounds)
Sew the hair piece to the head and then cut each loop. Then brush out the loose loops with a brush (I use a wire pet brush). Keep the brushed out fluff. Once it’s brushed out, the hair will look like those old troll dolls with the fluffy hair. Then use a felting needle to felt down the hair into the style on the head. When the hair has been felted down to where it needs to be, use the leftover brushed out fluff and felt the curled points that come around her cheeks.
I then brushed out a small amount of orange and black to felt on the eyes and mouth.
Hair starts off looking like this with all the loop stitches. Then you go and cut all the loops. |
Hair looks like this once it's brushed out. I tend to keep all of the material that's brushed out in a bag as I may need it to needlefelt embellishments onto future plush. |
Once felted down, I then shape the hair. In this plush, I also used some of the brushed out material to felt back on to add more layering. |
