Adventure Time - Jake Rattle

A quick freebie pattern from me today. Have just finished a big crochet project involving three life sized cats and have made this little pattern up to celebrate. One of my friends has recently had a little baby and she loves this show so why not a little project to combine her two loves? I made Jake out of DK weight yarn. He is 20cm (almost 8 inches) tall and the rattle bit is soft, only stuffed with no wiring. To make him, I used: DK Yarn - yellow, white, black G/6 – 4.0mm crochet hook Stuffing Body Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6) Round 2: 2SCx6 (12) Round 3: [2SC, SC]x6 (18) Round 4: [2SC, SCx2]x6 (24) Round 5: [2SC, SCx3]x6 (30) Round 6: [2SC, SCx4]x6 (36) Round 7 - 24: SCx36 (36, 18 rounds) Stuff a small amount to keep the rattle off the side of the plush, insert the rattle piece and then stuff a little more. Then continue. Round 25: [SC2tog, SCx4]x6 (30) Round 26: [SC2tog, SCx3]x6 (24) Stuff firmly. Round 27: [SC2tog, SCx2]x6 (18)

Chocobo Amigurumi

Hey! I'm back with another free pattern today! Have been working on one big 3x plush commission so that took me a while and kept me busy. Now that I'm a little free again, I should have some free patterns coming up :) More pokemon hopefully! The other night I went to a final fantasy concert and that has inspired this little cutie that I have been wanting to make for a long time now. If you would like to purchase, this particular chocobo, I have him up for sale here on Etsy. Chocobo Pattern When finished, this little chocobo is about 17cm (almost 7inches) tall when made from DK yarn. I didn't put any wiring in the legs but he is still able to stand on his own given the right circumstances. If you want a really study chocobo, then you can wire the legs. To make him, I used: DK Yarn - yellow, white, orange, cream G/6 – 4.0mm crochet hook 12mm plastic blue eyes Stuffing Head Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6) Round 2: 2SCx6 (12)
