#700 Sylveon

Hello!

I have a goal that I do want to make every single eeveelution but I just haven't had a chance to yet. However, I did have a chance to make a sylveon the other day and I'm so glad. This is one of my favourite pokemon.

Though, I may be biased towards all of the pink mon.

Sylveon is 20cm (8 inches) from nose to tail and 30cm (11 and a half inches) from foot to top of the ear when made with DK weight yarn. And I used a 4.00 hook.

Round 19 - 23: SCx30 (30, 5 rounds) [You may wish to leave a stitch marker 6 - 7 stitches into round 23 as this will mark the way the body should face - stitch marker facing down as the decreases is where the stomach is)

Round 25: [2SC, SCx4]x3, SCx18 (36)
Round 26 - 33: SCx36 (36, 8 rounds)

Eyes
Light Blue
Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6)
Round 2: 2SCx6 (12)
Round 3: [2SC, SC]x6 (18)
Round 4: 2HDC, SC, SSx4, SC, 2HDC. End here rather than crochet to the end of the round.
Finish off with a long tail and sew onto the head. Needlefelt on some white and light blue for the eye highlights. Also felt on some black for the nose and mouth. I also used the felting tool over the whole eye piece so it’s more flat on the head.

Ears
Side piece - pink
Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6)
Round 2 - 6: SCx6 (6, 5 rounds)
Leave a tail and finish off. Stuff lightly.

Main piece - pink
Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6)
Round 2: [2SC, SC]x3 (9)
Round 3: SCx9 (9)
Round 4: [2SC, SCx2]x3 (12)
Round 5 - 10: SCx12 (12, 6 rounds)

Round 12 - 15: SCx18 (18, 4 rounds)
Round 16: [SC2tog, SC]x6 (12)
Use the tail of the side piece to sew up the gap between the two pieces and to attach the side piece to the main ear but don’t hide the join. Stuff lightly and then use the tail from the main piece to sew onto the head.

Dark Blue
Chx10
Round 1: From the 2nd chain from the hook, SCx9, then using the loops on the other side of the chain, SCx9 (18)
Finish off and then sew onto the front of the ear.

Head Accents
Pink
Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6)

Leave a tail to sew onto the head at an angle.

Pink
Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6)
Round 2 - 5: SCx6 (6, 4 rounds)
Leave a tail to sew onto the head.
Stuff lightly and sew both pieces to the forehead in front of the ear that won’t have the ribbon. (Left ear when face to face with sylveon).

Ribbon
Make 4 complete ribbon tails. Two for the head and two for the neck.

Tail
Light Blue
Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6)
Round 2 - 3: SCx6 (6, 2 rounds)
Leave a tail and finish off. Then make a second one but on the second one don’t finish off, continue onto the next round.

Round 4: Insert hook onto the next stitch for the first piece, SCx6. Then insert hook onto the next stitch for current piece, SCx6 (12)
Round 5: SCx9 (9) If you’re using a stitch marker, this is the new start to the round. So that the colour changes happen at the edge of the scarf rather than in the middle.

Use the tail from the first piece to sew the gap closed and then continue.
Round 6: SCx12 (12) change to dark blue.
Round 7 - 8: SCx12 (12, 2 rounds) on the last round change to pink
Round 9 - 10: SCx12 (12, 2 rounds) on the last round change to white
Round 11 - 30: SCx12 (12, 20 rounds)
Round 31: [SC2tog, SCx2]x3 (9)
Round 32: SCx9 (9)
Round 33: [SC2tog, SC]x3 (6)
Leave a tail. Sew two ribbon tails to the ear and then remaining two to the neck.

Row 1: From the 3rd chain from the hook, DCx5. chx2 turn
Row 2: DCx5 change to pink, Chx2 turn
Row 3 - 5: DCx5, CHx2 turn (in the last row, change back to white but leaving a long pink tail.
Row 6: DCx5, Chx2 and turn

Weave in the loose ends except the pink tail. Wrap the tail around round 4 and pull tight to turn into a ribbon shape. Sew one onto the ear and make a second to sew onto the neck.

Row 3: SCx10, chain and turn (10)
Row 4: SCx9, chain and turn (9)
Row 5: SCx8, chain and turn (8)
Stuff the front legs lightly and stuff the back legs firmly. That way the front legs will seem smaller than the back legs.

Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6)
Round 2: 2SCx6 (12)
Round 3: 2SCx3, SCx3, 2SCx3, SCx3 (18)

  1. I'm a bit baffled by the pinkpart of the head pattern:
Row 13: SCx9, down the next steps down pick up the 5x stitches, SCx28 until the stitch marker (42)
What do you mean by pick up 5x stitches?
    And what stitch marker?
I love pokemon and my daughter is obsessed with eevee so trying to make this for her. Any help would be greatly appreciated 😊

    1. Hi! That would be me assuming you left a stitch marker in from when the pattern was still in rounds. So the pattern goes from rounds to rows where you chain and turn.. it then goes back to being crocheting in the rounds so the "steps" are the stitches created when you turned and decreased.

    2. Okay, uh hi, I'm having the same problem. So if I'm understanding this right: it's 9 single, mark the 5th chain and then 28 single until I meet the stitch marker?

    3. Hello! So with this particular round you're changing from rows (chain and turning) back to crocheting in rounds. You should see a little staircase like pattern from when you were crocheting in rows because you chain and turn before the end of the row. The 5 sc you pick up is going down each of the steps in that staircase. That turns that jagged like edge into a round one and let's you work back in rounds again to finish off.

    4. Great, now follow up question:

Use the tail from the first piece to sew the gap closed and then continue.

Round 6: SCx12 (12) change to dark blue.

How do I continue after sewing the gap?

    5. Hi

Sorry I'm not talking able to advise without seeing what's going on as I'm not too sure what you're stuck on. Usually when I write that instruction it means that a previous gap is being sewn closed with a remaining tail from another piece so once you've done that you should be able to continue as normal with what you're currently doing as nothing should have been finished off on the current round.

#778 Mimikyu

Hello all!! I've been mysteriously quiet lately but I've been very productive. Just lazy when it comes to actually resizing my images and putting these patterns up. I have a backlog of actual patterns to put up so I'll work through them slowly. I figure I would come back with one that a lot of people have been happy with. This Mimikyu is 30.5cm (12 inches) tall from base to the tip of its crooked ear. Features are needlefelted on and everything is sewn on and attached so there are no hard parts.  Head/Body Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6) Round 2: 2SCx6 (12) Round 3: [2SC, SC]x6 (18) Round 4: [2SC, SCx2]x6 (24) Round 5: [2SC, SCx3]x6 (30) Round 6: [2SC, SCx4]x6 (36) Round 7: [2SC, SCx5]x6 (42) Round 8: [2SC, SCx6]x6 (48) Round 9: [2SC, SCx7]x6 (54) Round 10: [2SC, SCx8]x6 (60) Round 11 - 20: SCx60 (60, 10 rounds) Round 21: [SC2tog, SCx8]x6 (54) Round 22: [SC2tog, SCx7]x6 (48) Round 23: [SC2tog, SCx6]x6 (42)

Clefairy (Pokedoll style)

Hello! I come with another pattern that isn't being added to the pokedex library as this one is done in pokedoll (cute and round) style rather than based on the original dex image. But this one is really quick and easy to work up! I made this with DK weight yarn and my usual 4.00 size hook. The plush works up to be 18cm (7 inches) tall and 21cm (about 8 1/2 inches) arm span! Body Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6) Round 2: 2SCx6 (12) Round 3: [2SC, SC]x6 (18) Round 4: [2SC, SCx2]x6 (24) Round 5: [2SC, SCx3]x6 (30) Round 6: [2SC, SCx4]x6 (36) Round 7: [2SC, SCx5]x6 (42) Round 8: [2SC, SCx6]x6 (48) Round 9: [2SC, SCx7]x6 (54) Round 10: [2SC, SCx8]x6 (60) Round 11: [2SC, SCx9]x6 (66) Round 12: [2SC, SCx10]x6 (72) Round 13 - 26: SCx72 (72, 14 rounds) Round 27: [SC2tog, SCx10]x6 (66) Round 28: [SC2tog, SCx9]x6 (60) Round 29: [SC2tog, SCx8]x6 (54) Round 30: [SC2tog, SCx7]x6 (48) Round 31: [SC2tog, SCx6]x6 (42) Ro

Hey! I come here with a cute absol pattern for you guys this time! If you're enjoying all my pattern posts, please consider supporting me! Absol took a few rework to get it to look how I wanted it to. This one takes a little more fiddling so you may wish to start with one of my other patterns (such as some of the eeveelutions or the pokedoll clefairy) if you're new to crochet! And here's the pattern: Head Blue Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6) Round 2: 2SCx6 (12) Round 3: [2SC, SC]x6 (18) Round 4: [2SC, SCx2]x6 (24) Round 5: [2SC, SCx3]x6 (30) Round 6: [2SC, SCx4]x6 (36) Round 7: [2SC, SCx5]x6(42) Round 8: [2SC, SCx6]x6 (48) Round 9 - 13: SCx48 (48, 5 rounds) Round 14: SCx42, 2SC, SCx5 (49)  Round 15: SCx42, 2SCx2, SCx5 (51) Round 16: SCx44, 2SCx3, SCx4 (54) Round 17: [SC2tog, SCx7]x6 (48) Round 18: [SC2tog, SCx6]x6 (42) Round 19: [SC2tog, SCx5]x6 (36) Round 20: [SC2tog, SCx4]x6 (30) Round 21: [SC2tog, SCx3]x6 (24) Round
